ichael Stroh has been a logistics practitioner since 1979, predominantly in an
international environment. He has served in a variety of operational and
administrative positions in a diverse range of industries including
wearing apparel, footwear, automotive, machinery, metals and hazardous
chemicals. His titles have included global logistics manager,
transportation manager and purchasing manager. |

He is a graduate of the
Academy of Advanced Traffic (now known as the Institute of Logistical
Management). He has a B.S. in Transportation from St. John's University, New
York and an M.B.A. in Global Management from the University of Phoenix. As well,
he is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, SOLE –
The International Society of Logistics and a certified member of the American
Society of Transportation and Logistics.
Currently, Mike
operates a consulting company called Logistics Network, Inc. He is the author of
A Practical Guide to Transportation and Logistics, wrote the Boy Scouts
of America Truck Transportation merit badge pamphlet, has been a
contributor to Traffic World magazine, and is a member of the faculty of
The Institute of Logistical Management and the World Trade Institute of Pace
University. Mike conceptualized, developed and operates several logistics
information web portals such as logisticsnetwork.com, Export Info, Impressive
Importing and logistics.ws.
